4 Benefits of Investing in Your Ceremony,
Investing in Rev. Phil

An investment is something you hope to get more out of than you put in. Here are the 4 benefits of investing in your ceremony, investing in Rev. Phil.

#1: Rev. Phil Shares Your Love Story at Your Wedding Ceremony

Your ceremony becomes personalized, romantic, interesting and fun when Rev. Phil shares your love story at your wedding. Guests don’t expect this. If they were spacing off, they won’t be at this point. They will follow the drama of your love story, laughing and crying at all the right places.

See for yourself! Check out the video clips in the right hand column.

“I usually kind of 'zone' out and I don't think that happened with any of our guests. I am sure that everyone will remember our story since you told it so well."

— Ali and Dan, Chicago History Museum, Chicago

#2: Rev. Phil Gets You a Complete Script Before Your Wedding

To make sure you are comfortable and that everything is organized just the way you want it, Rev. Phil will e-mail you the complete script prior to your wedding.

The script includes everything that will be said at your ceremony, including your love story. It also includes all of the actions — when the ring bearer walks down, when the unity candle takes place, etc.

You will get the initial order of service within a month of the second planning meeting. You get the final version ten days before your wedding. That gives you enough time to make changes, if necessary.

“Your detailed, professional, color copy, word-for-word script of our service made me feel very at ease because I knew ahead of time exactly what was going to be said. I was very impressed!”

— Kirsten & Jerry, Medinah Country Club, Medinah

#3: Rev. Phil Spends More Time with You Than Any Other Officiant

Rev. Phil will meet every couple for a free one hour consultation.

Couples who choose his full service ceremony will then get a second meeting with Rev. Phil for two more hours. You will get to know him, he will get to know you. He will guide you through planning an entire wedding ceremony — explaining options, giving you resources, helping you make your wedding interesting and personalized. He will draw out your love story and even share the first version of what it will sound like on your wedding day. You will laugh as Rev. Phil tells you your own love story.

Rev. Phil will spend hours preparing your script. Through e-mails and phone calls, the script will be perfected.

Rev. Phil will lead a one hour rehearsal — twice the length of the wedding. But it takes that long to be thorough — so everyone knows where to stand, how to walk, etc. By the end, everyone will be comfortable with their role in your wedding.

Rev. Phil will arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony to make sure everything is set up just right, talk with the DJ/musicians, photographer, videographer, etc. He becomes the unofficial wedding ceremony coordinator.

“He takes the time to really get to know you without feeling rushed and is an amazing listener, as we had a long story to tell and he captured every moment we spoke about when he told our story during our ceremony… He took the time to meet my other family members and put them at ease at a time they really need an outside person to do so. He welcomed guests and was able to strike up a conversation as if he had known them for years.

#4: Rev. Phil Really Cares

It’s not just a career, it’s a calling But Rev. Phil can’t say anything more about this without appearing self-serving. So, he’ll let brides and grooms say it about him.

“The best part was that he REALLY cared and enjoyed learning about us so that he could convey that emotion to our guests at the wedding. Our wedding coordinator at the ballroom where we got married said that she sees a lot of people who come in and officiate a wedding who just don't care. This is not the case with Rev. Phil Landers, and I would recommend him to anyone.”

— Nina & Bill, Grand Ballroom at Union Station, Joliet

Imagine it is 30 Minutes Before Your Wedding

Imagine it is 30 minutes before your wedding. Bride, you are hidden away from your guests (and, perhaps, the groom). You have no control over what is happening.

You are able to relax (as much as is possible before your wedding) because of your investment in your ceremony, because of your investment in Rev. Phil.

Is it Worth it?

Note what Brittani and James say about the return on their investment in their ceremony, in Rev. Phil.

Yes, his prices may seem high compared to other officiants. But if you don't take anything else away from this review take this: IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. My husband and I were not thrilled with the idea of spending, what we thought, was such an exorbitant price just for someone to say, ‘Do you? Do you? Kiss... you’re married’ but we are so grateful we didn't change our minds. We both believe we are extremely fortunate to have had Reverend Phil officiate our wedding and would never think even one cent was not worth the beautiful and perfect ceremony we had. You will not be disappointed or regret a single cent. It truly is worth the cost — and then some.
